Mike W: Why do many spam emails have excerpts from news stories at the bottom?
Like most people, at least half of the email I get is spam, and I’ve noticed that many spam emails have excerpts from news stories at the bottom after the main message. Usually it’s just a few random sentences from a fairly old story. Is there a reason spammers add these to their messages?

they use that as a way to get around spam blockers
