Even though teens are often very horny, most manage to keep it in their pants and behave normally at school and stuff, because it’s not acceptable for them to be having sex yet.

It shows that people can resist their sexual desires. Especially when it’s not accepted by society.

So how come lesbians and gays have so much less self-control and can’t do the same? Why do they find it so much harder to control their sexual urges, and just get along in society without having sex with other men and women?

Because teenagers and kids are all influenced by the people we see and hear everyday, adults.

At my high school, the health teachers knew that they could never prevent us from having sex, so instead they taught us about safe sex, STDs, AIDS, and HIV, and how drugs and alcohol abuse can easily lead to unprotected sex. I believe this helps more than scolding teenagers to not have sex until legal age because some of us will and others won’t.

I can’t answer the question about gays and lesbians. But your original one about teens is easy. Teenagers have NO CLUE about real life and consequences. They are used to having mom and dad protect them. Even further, teens have no clue about relationships and how they work. As a matter of fact, many adults have no clue either.

Something that doesn’t get spoken about enough is the beginning stages of a relationship. When a boy meets or sees a girl, there is a physical attraction. Why? Its all about procreation and the instinct of sex. That’s human nature. But because we live in a man-made society with man-made rules, we have to consider consequences first. This beginning stage of a relationship or acquaintance is mostly about sex or the precursor. You can’t possibly know one another well while you are infatuated with each other. That’s why its best to wait on sex. In the beginning, guys will say and do a lot of things to win a girl over and its mostly about sex. If she makes him wait awhile, he will stick around if he truly cares.

There seems to be more and more early teenagers having sex these days as if its a sport. They sit around at home and watch porn online and gain a very distorted view of the world. They are setting themselves up for a major problem in life later on. But they can’t possibly know it beforehand without listening to the parents.
