Kat: What do you think of young people, like teenagers, with good diction and a large vocabulary?
I’ve always wondered this because I’m a teen but people I’m related to always tell me I have fantastic diction and an impressive vocabulary for my age, and they say its a good thing.
But I don’t know if they’re just saying that because they’re my relatives.
So what do you think of teenagers with good diction and large vocabularies? Do you think its a good thing and makes them sound smart, or does it make them sound stuck up and annoying?

It’s very impressive. It’s good. I hate trying to talk to someone, even and adult and they say “Huh what does that mean” It makes you sound intelligent it’s only annoying if you try to be a know it all or show off

I, myself, believe that the aforementioned quality is quite refreshing and makes one sound quite intelligent.
Yes, I thinks its a good quality but if overused it can sound kinda snooty, especially if you are just chillin with your friends.

I’m 13 years old, and I’ve been told that I’m smart and have an extensive vocabulary.
Most people consider this a good thing, but obviously if someone’s always using big words and saying intelligent things no one understands, that’s going to get annoying. There’s a time and a place for everything.
