They attempt suicide because they feel they can’t cope anymore.
It’s a bit of a silly thing to do as you only have 1 life.
We don’t leave teens to die & of course we care about them.
Why do you think we have Childline and all that?
I’m 13
And i’ve tried
about 4 or 5 times
but none ever seem to work
i calculate the time and everything
I do it for mutiply reasons
But it all comes to I’m not happy
Pathetic excuse right.
Oh and i have reasons tons of reasons so dont judge me
i think it’s important to recognize those who are not happy, and do what we can to make them happy. There are too many people who would benefit from medications or a therapist that don’t use one. And by the way, thy kill them selves because they loose hope and don’t want to go on anymore.Answer by Kaz
Please, teens do not have a hard life. They don’t even know what life is about?
Ignorance is the causeAnswer by FLGossipGirl685
I’m sorry if I sound inconsiderate but teens do not have a hard life (compared to adults who have real responsibility and bigger issues). I think the problem for suicidal teens is that their parents don’t care about them enough and they need someone to talk to so they know someone cares about them. There are mentors and help lines to help prevent teen suicide. It’s getting them to use them that can be difficult.Answer by Pimpkilla
im a teen and i don’t wanna commit suicide O.oAnswer by pwincesszoo
well.. in my school one girl did try to kill herself last year. i mostly down to depression, maybe they are getting bullied, family issues, the list goes on.
i guess you can teach ‘us’ by showing us life without the people we live with, show ‘us’ people who live harder lives and try to teach ‘us’ ways to resolve depression and any other issues we have.
maybe they should do somethign at schools about it. they do at mine.Answer by Bob S
Teens comit suicide because they can’t cope with their current situation. They feel its their only way out, when its really not. Many teens are trying to find themselves.Answer by James S55$$ where I give you ME.

We can’t do anything about it, its up to them if they really want to suicide to solve their problem or live on. Well….maybe we can do something about it, but I don’t know what is.Answer by yoohoo
Weak minds / Survival of the fittest.
If someone’s too weak, stupid, unappreciative, or impatient to live, they don’t deserve to live.
I don’t care one whit how many thumbs down I get–(great if I get at least 10-20!).
Answer by TazrianHey ,honestly speaking teens are emotional. They r novice in leading life. They don’t know how to react and face any particular situation so they think any embarrassing situation would mean a mark in his/her trait or may be he/she finds herself to be a complete loser. This case can only be solved by parents. Proper guidance is very necessary.Being a teenager myself, I know what are my requirements. The parents should stay with their children in their will and woes. Never let them feel that they are alone.Answer by Chizzy
Nearly 5000 teens commit suicide each year.
I think it’s because the state of the world today.
There are more complicated pressures and demands on teens today than ever before.. Not to mention the fear of wars/terrorism, drugs, being too fat, not cool, unpopular, too poor, too smart, not smart enough and so on.
Then there’s a disorder and a medication for every behavior under the sun…
What can we do about it? Who knows.
Answer by Universal Love/Truth>Peace276,000 youngsters between the ages 15-25 yrs try to kill themselves every year; 5000 succeed. The main causes are stress, bullying, failed relationships, abuse, rape, failures at studies.
Male teens are more likely to use handguns or hanging to end their lives and females resort to pills overdose.
Teens should talk to parents and school counsellors about their problems or call up the help lines, to ease their problems. Schools and families must keep a close look-out for teenagers who are depressed or create violence, as these are some of the symptoms. All must realize it is a great tragedy when any teenager commits suicide–great loss at such a young age.
