Rachelle C: Which hotels in Vancouver will allow an 18 year old to book a room?
We are taking a road trip leaving from Alberta and we are only 18 years old but we are looking for a hotel in Vancouver (preferably downtown) but every one we have tried to book so far will only allow reservations to people 19 and up…
I need to know whether some hotels will take us or if we are out of luck…
If so,, which hotels?

https://www.buchanhotel.com/ – this hotel will rent to 18 year olds as long as there is a valid credit card …
and you are right, i called around a few and they all said 19 … but the buchan is a nice hotel … very small and not too expensive … it is in the west end but walking distance to everything and a safe area …
