Manderz™: Where do you get the SAT accommodation codes?
I’m dyslexic and I need to tae the SAT’s this year. When I was applying online it asked me for the accommodation code for anyone that is in Special Education classes. I asked my guidance counselor where I would get the code, but she didn’t know. She said she’d try and find out, but I have to apply by Friday so they can set up for accommodations. Does anyone know where to get this code, I can’t pass this test without the accommodations.

You would not talk with the guidance counselor. This is why she did not know–it was the wrong person to have asked. .
You would need to be enrolled in your special education department at your high school in order to obtain these accommodations on this and other tests.
The diagnostician (person who legitimizes if people can be in special ed and also the special ed department chair in some cases) is the one who would fill out paper work which doccuments that you are a person with a disability.
You would need to have undergone a battery of specialized tests with the diagnostician prior to the diagnostician then deciding if you can be in special ed and thus can obtain accomodations on those tests.
