There are a lot of back packers hostels in Sydney for cheap accommodation.Lots of superb beaches far better than Bondi I love Watsons Bay.The Opera house, you can walk over the Sydney harbour bridge. The Sydney aquarium is fantastic, there are some lovely restaurants and bars in The Rocks district down by the Harbour.Darling harbour is very nice.Take a trip to the Sydney fish market loads of different species of fish and seafood fascinating so much to see and do alone or with company.
watch it with the Sydney hostels as a lot of them are horrible. Check out tripadvisor (with the usual pinch of salt) but it looks like a couple of the central YHAs are a good bet. If Harbour City backpackers in Woolomolloo is still going, don’t go anywhere near it – never again!Answer by AussieChick
Yes Sydney is pretty safe – just be smart and be confident.
YHA hostels are great and you can meet many different natios there. Many hostels will take you as you arrive.
i would recommend on top of the nother two answers – get the Manly Ferry and go to Manly beach for lunch or for the day. They also have an Aquarium but seriously its a beautiful day trip and great way to see the harbour and the city skyline.
Have heaps of fun and take care 🙂
Answer by CocoGet a daily ticket for all kind of transportation and get it on the start of your day. Will be cheaper, specially when you want to travel by Ferry too, to visit Manly, Watson Bay or Taronga zoo.
