ALLiEGASM<3: Where can i find a medium format film SLR camera?
I some rolls of 120 film inside of a holga, and really dig the medium format film. The negatives are great! So I was wondering where to find a medium format film camera that is more advanced than the holga. I have been having trouble online, and was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase one? Online or whatever. Thanks!
I live in San Diego, California.

Check out their used department. I have done business with them for years.
Answer by FishmeisterWhy not look at buying a TLR or other MF cameras instead?.
I use a Yashica A TLR and it is one of my favourite cameras..
I also love my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515/2

The Yashica A cost me £38 from eBay and the Zeiss Ikon Nettar cost £5 from a car boot sale. Both of which are 120 film and produce incredible images.

This guy lives in SD (or he did). Looking through his site might give you some ideas, although he promotes his online links alot (that’s how his site is paid for).
LOL… many people who start out with a Holga end up getting a “real” medium format camera due the frustrating limitations of the Holga. Here are the listings at B-H.

KEH is also another great resource for MF cameras and gear, though I wish their website was better.
Finally, you may want to consider putting a bid in on the Mamiya 7II on Ebay. This is one of the most stunning photo making machines ever made. Be ready for the ending price to be likely $ 1500 or more:

Answer by david fIf it was me, I’d go to The Real Camera Company, Lever St., Manchester M1. But since Yahoo! covers the whole wide world and you don’t give any sort of clue about how close you live to Manchester, or even whether you live in the UK, it’s hard to advise you.Answer by Serg
