zipps80six: When should a person quit saying “Happy New Year”?
Is there an exact date as to when you should stop. And I know that you don’t have to say it repeatedly, I’m only talking about people that you haven’t seen since last year or haven’t already said it to.

Feb 1st…..Answer by ELLE
Personally I believe that it should stop after the 1st of January. It isn’t like we say merry Christmas days after Christmas or happy birthday days after someones birthday. But if someone says happy new year once it hits February I think you have the right to slap them…enough is enough!
