When selling a house, are you required to inform a prospective buyer that a large dead tree in a neighbor’s property might fall some time in the future and hit the new owner’s property?

i don’t see why you would have to. any property damage that occurs due to a dead tree is owed by the owner of the property surrounding that tree. maybe you should remind the neighbor of that possibility. i’m surprised the city hasn’t said something by now.
