Sexual assault-When a person try to rape you or forcing you to have sex.
Sexual harassment-When someone make fun of you or make inappropriate comment sexually about you.
Sexual abuse- When “2” person in a relationship, and one abusing the other person for sex, like hitting, or forcing to have more sex, etc.
assault is usually violent like rape, harrassment could be anything, and doesnt even have to be physical, you could say something degrading and if it offends then its harrasment, and abuse is more long term than assault, assaults usually a one off thing but sexually abusing someone could last yearsAnswer by Losing Is Not An Option
as far as i understand it, its like this
sexual harassment is when someone says or does something with sexual overtones to make you uncomfortable, feel disrespected, or to intimidate you
sexual assault is when someone makes unwanted sexual physical advances on your person, whether it ends in intercourse is irrelevant, whether you know the person is also irrelevant
sexual abuse is when someone uses your body sexually without your consent, usually repeatedly
Answer by RayraySexual assault is an assault of a sexual nature on another person.
While sexual assaults are associated with the crime of rape, it may cover assaults which would not be considered rape. What constitutes a sexual assault is determined by the laws of the jurisdiction where the assault takes place
Sexual harassment, is intimidation, bullying or coercion of a sexual nature, or the unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors. (comments/inappropriate talking to someone)
Sexual abuse, also referred to as molestation, is the forcing of undesired sexual behavior by one person upon another. When that force is immediate, of short duration, or infrequent, it is called sexual assault. (Unwanted touching)
the difference is mainly with the harassment like harassment is inappropriate talking,
sexual assault leads and sexual abuse are basically the same.. sexual abuse usually is when in a relationship people say like if ur bf had sex with u when u didnt want it
