What’s the difference between loving someone and being infatuated/obsessed with someone?
I love my boyfriend. We’ve been inseparable since day one. But how can you tell if you actually love someone or is just infatuated and obsessed with them?

Well you can be obsessed with someone because maybe they are interesting, like a hero. Like people are obsessed with their heros that’s why there are biographies about those people.
answer mine please 🙂
Answer by AstrumparvulusYou will notice that infatuation is usually relatively momentary and fleeting. You will feel yourself being blinded an undoutbly focused on the significant other often, more often then you may even realize. Your friends may see it, though. You may become clingy and selfless to the point of dysfunctionality. You will feel as if you cant function without them. (Only relavant if the feeling is not mutual.) An infatuation will render a person attached to a person that may not necessarily be attached them. An infatuated person would either dismiss this as untrue or not care. A good indicator of infatuation is if you are “in love with the person they used to be.” The user above me is correct, this usually stems from extreme interest and develops into obsession. You may not know it was infatuation until it is all over. Infatuation is sometimes hard to distinguish from the beginning stages of a relationship.
True love is mutually supportive and destructive.
