Ballet technique would problably be your best bet! Technique classes show you how to perform the moves, and do them correctly, technique is the most important! you could be the most flexible and knowledgeable dancer, but if your technique is wrong, your going to loose points!
Good Luck
Answer by Madi HSome technique classes will focus on just one thing. Such as turnig or leaps. But others teach you how to do a lot of different things in one class. They show you how to do the moves correctly. Such as; if you are doing a leap in 2nd and your second leg is bent they would help fix that or if you don’t connect you pose. They will help you and they could even help you do more than one piroutte. Or spot harder. If i were you i would take the regular ballet class so you know if you need the technique classes. And also you will know what they are talking about if you have never taken ballet before. Then again a dancer is no good without a smile and technique… Hope this helps.Answer by Gina
There isn’t a difference that I know of, but the studio that has those classes will know the difference. Call them and ask.Answer by dance4ballet
depends what studio you go to as to what the classes really mean.
i would say technqiue classes focus on just that – technique. you wouldnt have to rememer cominations or anything.
ballet classes would probably focus on syllabus. so, as well as getting technque, you would have to learn the steps and make sure you have them.
