What’s the difference between Algebra 1 and Algebra 1A?

I have been in home school for a year and a half and I’m in 11th grade. I am planning on going back to regular high school for my senior year. The school I wan’t to go to you must finish 1 year of Algebra 1 and geometry in order to graduate. I have already finished a year of Algebra 1A. So I was wondering what the difference between Algebra 1 and Algebra 1A is.

One of them is more watered down and moves at a slower pace “Alg. 1 A.” and you also learn the basics of alg. 1 in alg. A!!
