It’s like a trick question when they ask that. Also what are some of the tricks you have learned when you have went on job interviews that you would suggest.

List all the attributes that you have that pertain to this specifc position, also say that you are looking for somewhere where you can grow with a growing company.

nothing, just be confident in answering. Just show overconfidence. If you dont know answer of any qs, just say no idea. Dont try to give any vague answs. Be prepare to explain in detail about your personal attributes and hobbies.

That you enjoy doing this type of work and you have the skills to do it well. Don’t they know you need the money! A much harder question to answer that I have been given before is asking you what your weaknesses are. Ugh! Like you really want them to know about them all! The best thing is to be self-confident in your job interviews.

The best way I know is to find out from the ad what the employer is asking for and also research the business and the company and emphasize the skills you have that match those things. (For instance, if you like people, and the it is a service job, talk about that.)
There needs to be some things that you enjoy and/or care about that you can talk about or the employer will sense that you really don’t want the job. However, when you talk about things you care about, the enthusiasm shows to another person.

truthfully. An employer would rather hear honesty than what you think they want to hear. If it is make more money to take care of you family tell them so, maybe its closer to home, better hours, or I just want to make extra money. Be honest with about what you can do. Type, Multitask, or good with the public. Honesty is always best, they will eventually find out anyway.

I think the best way to answer “why you want or would be good for this job” would be, Ive always enjoyed helping people (assuming its a clothing store job) and I love giving positve advise. I think I would make an excellent addition to this job. I will always be ready to help the customers and give them tips on the latest fashion for summer. THen maybe you can talk about your admioration for fashion. And that you have always been interested in clothes and you love the confidence you get just by wearing them, and you want the customers to feel good in the clothes they choose to wear.. and thats why you think you would be good for this job. Because you can relate to the customers and since you once were one you know what its like from the other side of the fence.. something like that..

Honesty, don’t give them the numerous repetitive answers, just answer whatever comes from your mind & heart.
