What’s more important; to be “In Love” or to “Love”?

V.G.I.: What’s more important; to be “In Love” or to “Love”?
When, entering a relationship, do you think it’s more important to be “in love” with the other person or to “love” the other person.

Do you think you have to be “in love” at the beginning of a relationship?
Or do you think you can fall in love later?

OR

Do you think you can start when you “love” the person, and then fall “in love” with them later in the relationship?

being LOVED

Answer by Marie
The second one. People my age always say “Oh i am so in love with him/her” and its annoying. You can love them, but you have to be sure you do a lot to be able to be “in love” with them. They are totally different.
And i think love is more important than in love, idk why

Answer by Melody♥

First you can’t just love a person they have to be a friend or family you know someone close and yeah you can fall in love with a person after just being friends which you have love for them but you’re not in love with them at the time until you guys give it it a romantic chance.

you can’t question real love. it stands alone by itself. to be in love is to be emotional to love is unconditional.

My best relationships were the ones where I started out in love. If you aren’t in love at the start you’ll never really have that sexual spark together. Of course long lasting love takes effort, but starting out crazy about each other is a good thing.

The excitement of a new relationship doesn’t last forever. After the giddiness wears off, “love” and putting effort into the relationship will keep it going.

There’s nothing wrong with starting a relationship by even just caring about a guy you don’t need to be in love right away that takes time.

Answer by Seph2
Love yourself first, if you are happy, everyone around you is happy.

Answer by Lizzzzzz
The second one cuz you have to know them better before you fall inlove

you can love anybody, but when your in love then thats something special

Answer by {Little}Wolf
Well you don’t normally start a relationship with love, but on the odd change you do (like mine he say’s, aww lol), love first then in love. Being in love is a more intense feeling and it’s also more relaxed and like ‘I wanna spend my days with that person, always and forever’ kinda thing, love, to me, is more fresh and such, though you can love someone for years before falling ‘in love’ with them.

so basically, the latter.

I think it’s important to “love” the other person that to be “in love” with them.
I have a male friend who I’m not attracted to in the slightest bit, and him the same about me, but we have a special chemistry with each other. I say that i’m “in love” with him, because i’m “in love” with our friendship and “in love” with the connection we have.

But that’s just me. I consider being “in love” with having a special chemistry with someone, not neccesarily a loving relationship.

And I don’t think you can start with “love” and then fall “in love” with them later. You either love them or you don’t, but sometimes other factors in our lives complicates things and our relationships with other people so we often become confused or distracted with where we stand in and how we feel in relationships.

Well, idk…I love my boyfriend and so, that means that I am in love with him. It is the same thing.

I mean I suppose I can love other things, but that doesnt mean I love it like I love my boyfriend.

I think when it comes down to if you first meet a person you dont love them you are attracted to them or their personality. Then you start liking them for everything they are and having feelings for them stronger than anything. Then you start feeling butterflies, at least in the begining and then you feel like you would do anything for that person. Thats when you are in love with them. Its amazing how it feels.

Answer by jenna
i think you should never tell someone you love them unless you know for sure you do if your in love than it goes both ways and the other person feels the exact same way

Answer by Jeff D
I say I love all types of thing all the time but I fell in love (not in love) in ln like 15 minutes so i think if it doesn’t happen right at First probably not but if u r friends i think u can fall in love as your relationship grows
