We have fostered a litter of kittens from the shelter. One has really bonded with my son so we will keep her.
We were thinking of name options and Moo-Shu (?) came up. Then, in our ever present desire to be different, we decided to research if there are any acceptable recipe names for cat based dishes that we could use as a name for her. All we have found are English names for recipes “cat soup” or “rotisserie cat” and we want an Asian name.
If anyone knows any Asian language, cat meat based recipes we would appreciate it.
The kitten is a 6 week old solid black female who loves her tummy rubbed.

I have no idea why you’d want to give a cat a name like that, I think that’s pretty creepy. But, I do know this one māo ěr duǒ (貓耳朵) (or ‘maau yi do’ in Cantonese), it’s a type of noodle, and its not made with cat, but it is shaped like cat’s ears. Māo ěr duǒ means cats ears.

In general a lot of asian dishes are called the same thing regardless of the protein. Like moo shu, or lo mein, so any of those would work. I also found two specific cat recipe names. “Dragon Fights with Tiger Soup” (longhudou) [China] “Goyangi-tan” (Liquid cat) [Korean]
I’m thinking of the last not as a food, but as the time when my kitty is so happy and comfortable from all the love and petting I give her that she kind of melts, like she has no bones.
