What would anybody know good books on real life animal stories?

eric ayy: What would anybody know good books on real life animal stories?
I really want to get a book that’s about an animal, who has a hard beginning in life, then somebody saves it, then the whole book is about its life. Any suggestions? Oh and books that are no more than 200 pages.Thank you! Also, try and think of Hard-cover books!

A Dog’s Life: The Autobiography of a Stray by Ann M. Martin meets those requirements, but indon’t think it’s real, and it’s a children’s novel.
It’s 182 pages, by the way.
