Kiss Me Im Irish: What type of wedding gown would be good for an outside wedding?
The wedding is in a pasture, so I don’t want a dress with a train. And I’m also wanting a dress with black accents. But the main question is what type of dress do I look for that doesnt have a train?

This one is trainless and has black accents. Davis bridal has other train less dresses but they look very princess and ballarinea which seems a little over the top for a pasture theme wedding

Don’t forget that dresses are made so anything that touches the ground can be buttoned up when walking….so it could be let down when you are standing where you want to be.
But I would say a long dress is fine…just maybe in a simpler style would fit outdoors better…or it could be really old fashioned and have the tux, other outfits also fit an earlier time like a real old fashioned country wedding.
Also any “made up” aisle between chairs, etc. can have a runner laid down to protect your clothes better…..
Answer by breezyThere are lots of dresses available without trains. Cap sleeves, straps, or strapless dresses would be great!Answer by jellybeancounter
You should probably look for a tea-length or ankle-length (I think it’s called ballet) dress. A dress all the way down to the ground would get horribly filthy. A dress of that length probably wouldn’t have a train.Answer by autumn lover
I thought some of the dresses are quite beautiful for a outdoor wedding

Answer by lisaMany people do not think of this when getting married. They make white prom dresses- they are a lot cheaper and of course do not have a train on them. I looked at these because I wanted a simple dress. Maybe that will help you.Answer by Rnrqueen

Answer by MildaLook for a tea length wedding dress! It’s still long, but not long enough to drag in the grass!Answer by Ricky
Depending on what your style is many people are wearing white sun dresses to their weddings. https://www.theengagementclub.com/ has some really great tips on what to wear to your wedding.Answer by TheTruthHurts
When choosing a dress for a wedding held in this location, let “less is more” be your mantra—unfussy styles that feature relaxed silhouettes, lightweight fabrics, and understated feminine details like soft ruffles or cotton lace overlays.
