Hottie: What website allows me to search for motels as well as hotels?
I am not just searching for hotels, but motels. Websites like Expedia.com do not show most of the motels I know of. Why don’t they list all of them. I want a website that lists EVERY motel and hotel in the area. Speaking of which, what is the best priced motel/hotel in the detroit metro? Thanks

Join AAA….Thats a great place to save on hotels, motels. Well worth the price. Each state has its own book that gives prices. its free for the books, maps to. Also covers you for towing on your car for the year.
Expedia and Hotels.com etc only list hotels/motels that they deal with. They do not deal with every hotel out there. Personally, I like using sites like Hotels.com etc because I do usually find the best deals on those types of sites. If you want a listing of absolutely everything, I guess I would just suggest using the Yellowpages and looking up all listings in the area you are interested in.
I live in the detroit area. If you are more specific about where you were looking to stay, I can probably help you out a bit more with a suggestion. It’s a big area so you need to narrow it down a bit.
