Gazz W: What university degree do I take after college?
I dont need help on what course to take, I know that is my own decision. What I need to know is what I need to go for, Undergraduate, Post graduate, foundation etc.
I am currently studying for a National Diploma in Construction Level 3. Im unsure as to what degree I am supposed to take if I decide to go to university?

Well your lucky i clicked on this question.
After leaving high-school i did a 2 year National Certificate course in Construction (at Level 3 and eq. to 2 A-levels), i got a double distinction equalling 240 UCAS points; enough to get me onto most if not all construction based degrees.
I then started a Joint Undergraduate Degree at University, called Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management and l graduated a few months ago and have now found myself a job.
It depends on whats your interested in, please do not make the mistake for going for the construction jobs that only pay well. It is important to think about it and consider if it is something you could actually do everyday.
There are literaly about 50 different construction based degrees you can go on to do from your stage, From Architect, Building Surveying, QS, structural engineer, civil engineer, project management, real estate……Just make sure you have a good think and perhaps talk to a few people in the industry
