Clear Vision: What type of people engage in sexual acts with animals?
I read an article in Yahoo News about a man (if you can call him that) providing sexual services for people wanting to have sex with animals. One person even died after having a sexual encounter with a horse. Is this a cultural phenomena?

zoophilia is the name of the disease. it is called a disease because, much like pedophilia, it is not accepted in our society for good reason.Answer by kingjohnscastle
Zoophilia is NOT a disease. It’s pure, unadulterated evil committed by dysfunctional people with ultra-high sex-drives.
There should be only one sentence for anyone found guilty of ANY sexual contact with an animal – instant, painful death.
For A_YAHOO_: I never read the bible and I do not practice any religion. Don’t assume anything please.
Answer by Snotaliethe situation with the horse was a gay guy who’s partner wanted to buy him a thrill, the horse got over enthusiastic and pulped his guts. I guess that blows the theory that animals can’t consent….. lolAnswer by A_YAHOO_USER
Er, kingjohnscastle, everyone, explaining the Biblical view of sexuality. Let’s give him a hand! And don’t forget to kill and burn the animal too.
These people are called bestialists. It may or may not be a cultural phenomenon: it certainly is not a modern phenomenon, if that’s what you mean. Zoophilia may be represented amongst people everywhere, but bestiality seems to be more common in rural areas.
Also, horses don’t f%$ k around.
For kingjohncastle: I don’t honestly care, what you say is extraordinarily vicious and this is my way of sarcastically expressing contempt.
Answer by Empress EternalThat’s what happens when these racists want to run around calling their selves animal…so they can rape horses, odg,, cat, and swine. This was done during the 1600 and 1800s also, hillbillies just now want it legalized.Answer by Madina

You can’t reduce an entire group of people to one simple characterization. The only answer you could get would be a very stereotypical one, that’s likely skewed based on the opinions of the person who’s answering it. If you want the stereotypical answer, then everyone who engages in sexual intercourse with an animal lives in a rural area on a farm. However, just like with any other group of people, it doesn’t apply to everyone. I’m a zoophile and I’m sexually attracted to dogs, but I don’t live on a farm. I live in a city, have friends (of both genders), and I don’t have any mental problems (though I bet some would disagree).
On the other hand, I do think there is a difference in the type of person who engages in sex with animals depending on whether he’s an animal rapist or a zoophile (engages in a loving relationship with an animal and only has consensual sex with him/her). Someone who rapes animals likely has some sort of mental disorder, while a zoophile doesn’t necessarily have to have any mental disorder. They may simply be attracted to animals the same way a “normal” heterosexual male is attracted to human females or a “normal” homosexual male is attracted to other human males.
Also, I don’t think bestiality/zoophilia a cultural phenomenon as there aren’t many people known to be bestialists/zoophiles, though that may be because it’s not very accepted, or accepted at all in most cases, in modern society, so many people probably don’t come out about it. Also, zoophiles come from all walks of life. So, I don’t think you can consider it a cultural phenomenon.
