I Seek: What type of dancing is this called, and where can I learn it online?
My boyfriend takes me to outdoor Oldies concerts with music from the 60’s and 70’s like Johnny Angel and the Halo’s and the Vogues. I desperately want to dance to the music but don’t know how. What is the name for that type of dancing that I need to learn. Is there a free website video that teaches you that type of dancing?

Locally, in northern California in those decades, we called that dance style the “What’sit”. You might be able to find some old videos of American Bandstand with Dick Clark. Don’t know about a website.
One of the old dances from the early 60’s is called Jive. A dance from the 50’s is called the Stroll. Other names of dances from the 60’a are the Twist, the Swim, the Frug, the Mashed Potato.
I don’t know of any websites, but you could put those names in a search engine and see what comes up.
