Sophia’s Mommy: What to wear to a maternity shoot that will work well with nature?
Next Saturday my husband and I are having a Maternity Picture shoot done by a Student Photographer at a local park..I am not sure what to wear. I was going to do Jeans with a Black shirt and Have my husband do the same..But any suggestions would be great!
My tummy is pretty small so I hoping to wear something that would make it larger.

One of you should wear white or another lighter color. Too much black will look like one black blob.
I think anything relatively neutral and free of distracting pattern or texture will work well for a portrait. If you are wanting to show off your belly, however, black might not be the best, especially for a front view. It hides shadows and often appears flat. A lighter color – maybe a soft yellow or orange to mesh with the quickly changing leaves – might be a better choice. Best of luck and have fun!Answer by нσℓℓу~мσм σf qυιии & α∂∂у
my mother in law is a photographer and she likes to do the nature ones with everyone wearing jeans and some sort of white shirt.Answer by Pam
I like a big crisp button-down white shirt for mamas. That way, you can open the bottom to show belly if you want. Something stretchy and black (or jeans) will work on the bottom and the white will bring the focus up where it belongs.
A cute summery maternity dress would work too.
Answer by Lynsey ♥Audrey’s Mommy♥I was actually thinking black shirt & jeans before I even read what you were thinking. That would look so cool if there was fall colors/leaves and to have the black in contrast to them. Just make sure you buy new black shirts, not ones that are all faded and have been washed a few dozen times :).
