M M: What tennis shoes provide the best or softest heel support?
I have had a horrible time with heel pain at times after playing tennis. I have found that it is alleviated substantially with softer heel supports when I replace my regular shoes. Is there a tennis shoe that provides a softer or more shock absorbent heel system? I stretch religiously but it still is painful after playing; primarily on hard courts, but also on Har-tru.

Try asics gel they are really supportive and comfortable. I used to get heel pain after playing- i got orthotics made to help support my foot and that helped -you could try that.
I think you should try the Adidas Barricade V or the Nike Vapor V or VI. What tennis shoes did your heels hurt in? And how long do you play for? Is it possible that you have a bone spur in your heel that is part of the problem? Unless you are playing with really bad tennis shoes, I think you have other factors at play here. Maybe you need to run on your toes a bit more, and less on your heels.Answer by Kristen B
Any type of k-swiss shoes have a great heal. But if you like more of a design you may want to try nike they have a good heal.
Best of Luck!!
