double8helix: What skills should I study for a preliminary exam for a computer tech job?
Tomorrow I am interviewing for a job doing tech support. I am proficient in networking and am java and python capable. The only subject I haven’t gotten into so much is hardware. Can anyone give me an idea of what they say a “15 question, basic hardware exam” would entail? With only 15 questions, which broad areas of hardware should I look into Thanks!

Ive never taken a test like that but if it really is THAT basic they might ask about add ons, USB devices and printers, etc.
If its a little beyond that maybe hard drives and motherboards, etc.. removal of and installlation of hardware.
PS – Good luck! The world needs more good tech support. Everyone sucks at what they do for a living these days. Its almost as though everyones going for the wrong jobs intentionally. lol
