Brea: What size does medium equal in pants from Motherhood maternity?
My friend has some maternity clothes and I don’t want her to send them if they won’t fit. Thanks so much!

There’s a sizing chart on their website (motherhood.com). But it’s the same as a medium in non-maternity sizes.
They say it’s the same size but with both of my pregnancies I seem to be a size smaller in maternity clothes.Answer by AngelMommy of#1 TTC#2

Hello.. i dont know i think it all depends on the type of pants that you get. when i was about 3 months i went to get my first pair of pants (i was a size 7) and i tried on M and they were HUGE. so i had to get a S. But on a different type of jeans i was a M. So i say take the clothes it doesnt hurt to try them on.. and if they are too big… later on they might fit.Answer by Baby on Board (alt. name)
In pants, I would say that the medium is around a 8-12. The gap seems a bit wide, but that would be the stretch for ya! I would guess an x-small around 0-4, a small 4-8, a medium 8-12, a large 12-16, and an x-large 16-20. I could be a bit off…but I got pregnant at a size 16 and wear the x-large. But I could do the large too. I just chose the higher size, mostly for a bit more length. The tops would be equivalent to a medium prepregnancy size. Although I have never experienced that I could wear the same size top pre-pregnancy as during. I always went up a size to accomadate the chest 🙂Answer by ahill_hokie
The clothes are huge at that store. I typically wear size 6 and medium shirts, but I always had to buy small at that store. The medium pants seem more like a size 10 to me. Also, I am tall, so they were always short. I would estimate that small = 6, medium = 10, and large = 12-14. That’s just based on what I looked at.
I would just have her send them and try them on. You can always send them back later. Who knows? Later in your pregnancy, you may need a slightly larger size.
Good luck!
Answer by Shannon L – Little Man Due 12/7I was a size 2 or 4 pre-pregnancy, and I just bought some size medium maternity pants from Motherhood Maternity just the other day. They fit pretty well, but are a little baggy right now. I’m 31 weeks along, so my tummy is getting big and I wanted them to last the rest of the pregnancy.
