So my mom’s soon to be sister-in-law is getting married. She is having all of my mom’s sister-in-laws as bridesmaids.. But the woman getting married left my mom out. My uncle has all of his brothers as groomsmen and so my dad might walk with another girl and my aunts and uncles are all walking together… But my mom will just be watching. The lady getting married isn’t that close to one of my relatives which is a bridesmaid. What is your opinion on what my mom should do? Tell the bride how she feels or keep it to herself?

Unfortunately, since it IS the bride’s wedding, your mom should probably try and stick it out.

It stinks that your Mom was left out, but it’s the bride’s wedding and it’ll be over quick, so your Mom should really just sit quiet on this one. At least she was invited right?

Keep it to herself. The bride has too many problems with getting weddings organized. Most likely the bride felt pressured to include someone she didn’t want since your mother isn’t a siter-ion-law yet, the bride thought the simplest solution would be to only have in-laws.

Im not a expert but yea i say she should express her feelings to her because it isnt good to keep them inside.

Not a nice situation, but I agree with the other posts, your mum shouldn’t do anything. It is the bride and grooms day.

This does seem to be quite an akward situation for your mother. I would suggest she do one of a few thigs. She could try and keep her opinion to herself, but if she feels strongly about this then i suggest she do one of these other things. She could always have one of her other sister-in-laws bring her up to the bride and try and make her consider including your mother. Another solution may be for your mom to spend some time with the bride so that they can get to know each other a little better. She could even talk to the bride about and help her with her wedding plans, and I’m sure if they bonded she would be more than willing to make her a brides maid.
