Actually a lot of millionaires and billionaires (Donald Trump, Bill Gates) did not go to or finish college.
If you drop out of school now, you could be a billionaire by 2012!
Answer by JoyMaking “millions” is dependent upon having great ideas, a brilliant mind, and the drive to be at the right place in the right time. Most millionaires got that way out of hard work beyond what they did in college… if you want to make money, there are definitely some options more feasible than others. Engineering, architecture, business/accounting are a few. You can also try law school, though I will warn that the payoff for law is not immediate.
As a word of advice, though, I suggest you not focus too much on “making money” to be happy. Life isn’t about money, it’s about experiences. If you happen to make money along the way, great. But making it so your world completely revolves around how much money you have will honestly just leave you a broken person inside. Go to college to learn how to succeed in the world, but also go to make friends and lasting memories and to learn life lessons.
Answer by AeroThere are no majors you can take that will guarantee you millions of dollars a year. A lot of it relies on luck. For example, engineers have some of the brightest minds in the world and they require knowledge of many different kinds of advanced math and science yet they typically make around $ 60,000 a year out of college. That is obviously a far cry from millions of dollars. It not only takes a good mind, but it takes a ton of luck to to make that kind of money. There is a very small chance if any that you will make anywhere close to that, so don’t get your hopes up.
