DawnSherie: What season or time of year does rugby play?
I live in Georgia and have caught Rugby on TV if I am at like a sports bar but I can never pin point when Rugby plays? Does it vary from country to country? Does the US have a Rugby team? From what I can tell I really enjoy the sport and would love to watch it more. Any input and suggestions.. Thanks!

first off, i’m just assuming that you are in Georgia, USA
so yeah
there’s rugby for all but two months of the year
from August to November is the fall season, from February to May/June is the spring season
that is technically one league, but there is the two month winter break
during the summer, most teams do a 7’s league/ training
for TV, you need a special channel, its Fox Soccer Plus, and it plays Magners League and the Aviva Premiership, and the Heineken Cup, which are the premier leagues in britain
BBC America shows the 6 nations
Southern Hemisphere rugby season starts in Feb and ends September. So that’s Super Rugby competion from Feb to June and then Tri-Nations from July to September.
Northern Hemisphere starts about October and ends about April/May. Guiness Premiership, French Top 14, Six Nations etc.
So you can pretty much catch rugby all year round. And don’t forget about the 7s tournaments as well.
And yes the US does have a rugby team but i’m not sure if they play 15s, i’ve only seen them play 7s but keep an eye out for them in the Hong Kong 7s tournament in March. I think it starts 25th but obviously depends on time zones.
Answer by Max WrightRugby can be watched almost all year round. On espn you can watch quite alot of premiership rugby form england. usually on the weekend. This goes on from Spetember to March and sky sports always has lots of rugby on. The usa do have a team. At the moment not very good but thye are well on there way. Also the southern hemisphere plays alot of rugby. Found on sky sports. In the summer season.
