But in the assignment, it says explain what role the children have in doing this activity. I am not sure what their role would be, could anybody help me?

the children are the test group being the players
Child will explore the materials and measure and pour the water into different containers and has to measure if the water will pour over the container or if the container is to small or large child will use seriation, take turns with others and work with others and interaction and socialization, use critical thinking techniques, You are the facilitator you provide the materials and the children will use them and measures and pour and use their senses they can tell if the water is cold or hot or warn, how does the water look clear, or cloudy, you can add soap etc. Children will count how many times they pour the water how many times they had to get the water to fill the cups and funnels how many funnels and how to share and take turn for interaction.
