hendrix909817: What religions should i try other than the ones i specify?
I’ve already tried Catholicism, Mormonism(LDS), and Wicca. What religions are most welcoming to new comers? Also, i don’t want any religions that are Pagan, or Christian. I want to pick a religion some day but i need to try them to be able to decide.

Depends on what sort of person you are. Pick up (or look up) holy texts and look through them. Don’t get into religions because they are “welcoming.” Study them because they illuminate something for you and enrich your life in some way. My religion isn’t particularly welcoming at all, but its part of who I am.
Also, excluding “pagan” excludes a large number of interesting religions. Really Wicca these days can be quite watered down when compared with other more serious Pagan paths (Such as Kemetic Orthodoxy).
So off the top of my head:
Shinto
Hinduism
Taoism
Buddhism
Thelema
Satanism
Islam
Sikhism
Jainism
Rastafari

You may find Unitarian Univeralism, Buddhism or the Bahá’í Faith interesting. Unitarians, in particular, are quite accepting.Answer by George Williams
First and most importantly do a little research into religions before you try them, you could get yourself into trouble. For example Islam is quite welcoming to newcomers but not very respectful at all to people who want to leave the religion, and reverting again is rarely accepted. However if you must try new religion I would suggest a casual look at Buddhist Philosophy and Hindu living, both are very open religions different to what your used to. Also don’t overlook simply remaining Agnostic are Atheistic, being free from religious responsibility’s and commands could be right for you.Answer by Misscpb

Religion isn’t a fashion statement, something you “try on for size”.
First, define what your personal beliefs are, then seek the religion that fits the beliefs you hold. Perhaps this will help you:
But if you don’t want religions that are pagan or Christian, that only leaves you with Judaism and Islam, as “pagan” can mean anyone who isn’t Jewish, Christian, or Muslim.
Answer by MEI tried Islam(various sunni sects and 1 shia sect and 1 sufi), Hinduism, Buddhism, born again christianity, sikhism, orthodox judaism(didnt convert, studied it)
Only religions I have anything good to say about is LDS, Deism and Taoism. But Taoism isnt really a religion, atleast Lao Tzu didnt want it to become a religion.
Answer by Druid LongwalkerReligion is something that should resonate in your soul. It is many things – a way of life, a belief system, a philosophy, to name a few. First, before “trying” religions like jeans – stop and ask yourself why? What is it you are searching for? A religion cannot be “welcoming” or “not welcoming” – only people can. Are you looking for a religion or acceptance by a group?Answer by Phoenix Sol
my advice is stop looking for religion for the moment. look inside yourself and find out what you truly believe then find a religion that matches what you believe in.
