You watch too much TV. Read the Koran, and you will know better. What’s happening in the middle east is the result of tribal tensions that existed centuries before Islam. The fact that most of these people call themselves muslims is coincidence. Just like there are fake Christians, there are fake Muslims.

Islam has got nothing to do with terrorism even it is against terrorism.
To know whether the above sentence is true and not personal opinion (i.e objective) it is mandatory to see what Qura’an says, what the religion says not what people says : chapter 5 verse 32 of Qura’an says
“On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our Messengers with Clear Signs, Yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.”
The killing of an innocent person is equal to killing of the whole people.
Rather it is what the enemies of the religion spread false news about it.
For example I am very good Muslim and at the same time I hate and stand against terrorism.
After all, religion is not what you load on others forcefully but what people favorably choose.(even Qura’an says so, I don’t remember the exact verse )
But what media speaks is not always true because the media is under some political influence.
Specially, the BBC, CNN always blackening Islam, always accusing the innocent religion.
Believe your eyes(i.e read) not your ears(people talking) so try to discover what ISLAM says about terrorism not what people , media or any other third party tell you.

Islam has nothing to do with terrorism . we do not have 150 military bases world wide to control oil

Terrorism is the result of extremism, not Islam.
The word “Islam” means peace, even.

In answer to your questions, I think it is important to know the effects of anything in this world.It’s pretty ignorant to always relate terrorism to Islam. If it’s the tragedy of September 11 that you’re upset about, I think you need to do more research. Too lazy? Watch Fahrenheit 9/11, it clearly proves that America has way more to do with it than Islam does. But it was cleverly done to blame it on Islam, and to start a war with people that had nothing to do with it, like Iraq.

Knowledge can’t hurt you, so go get some.
