shrimpylicious: What music is good to listen to while studying?
What kind of music gets you into that zone of concentration where you tune out everything else and just focus on what you are doing?
Please, list specific songs, genres, and artists. I am looking for music to get because where I normally study is quite noisy and I want something to tune out the noise and help me focus. Thanks in advance!

I recommend The Byrds, a fantastic LA band from the mid-60’s to early-70’s. Very similar to bands like The Band and The Grateful Dead, with elements of pop, psychadelia, country, and even some jazz influence. Very relaxing which is perfect for studying, but they can kick a groove too!
Albums: Mr. Tambourine Man, Turn! Turn! Turn!, Fifth Dimension, Younger Than Yesterday, The Notorious Byrd Brothers, Ballad of Easy Rider, and Untitled
And if you’re not into buying albums, you can probably download these songs individually from whatever P2P site is cool these days.
Individual Songs: Mr. Tambourine Man, I’ll Feel a Whole Lot Better, All I Really Want to Do, I Knew I’d Want You, Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season), Set You Free This Time, The World Turns All Around Her, If You’re Gone, Satisfied Mind, 5D (Fifth Dimension), What’s Happening?!?!, Eight Miles High, So You Want to Be a Rock & Roll Star, Thoughts and Words, Renaissance Fair, Have You Seen Her Face, Time Between, Lady Friend, Hickory Wind, One Hundred Years from Now, Natural Harmony, Wasn’t Born to Follow, Space Odyssey, Goin’ Back, Tribal Gathering, Draft Morning, Old John Robertson, Triad, Ballad of Easy Rider, Jesus Is Just All Right, Oil In My Lamp, Tulsa County, Fido, Yesterday’s Train, Well Come Back Home, Chestnut Mare, Truck Stop Girl, All the Things, Just a Season, and Hungry Planet.
Happy studying!! =D
