Saw the movie the Mist about how a military project that was trying to look into other dimensions allowed the creatures from another dimension into ours.

Was wondering what other movies are about other dimensions and encounters with what resides in them.

Not a movie but the Television show Sliders was an excellent if not comedic few in to trans-dimensional travel

How about the movie “The One” with Jet Li.
I haven’t seen it all the way through, but it’s about how people have alternate existences in several other dimensions and to find another of yourself and kill him/her, you gain power and intelligence.
