Madison: What makeup should I wear with a blue prom dress?
My prom is in a few days, and quite honestly, I don’t have any idea what kind of makeup to wear. The dress I have is a light blue, goddess dress, and I’m wearing diamond jewelry. I don’t usually wear eye shadow or eye liner, but I’m planning on doing it for prom. I don’t want to overdo it, so I need tips on how not to overdo the color, kind, etc. Any suggestions?

Try to find a light blue color like your dress and put it on your lid. Then use a creamy white to help blend it and use as your highlighter (top of lid, right under your brow.) Black mascara on top and bottom and your set!

I suggest a really simple look since your dress and accessories are already quite a lot.
Just apply a light shimmer gold/champange colour eyeshadow all over your lid and sweep a little dark brown shadow in your crease (the space between your lid and brown) then apply some liquid eyeliner on your top lid and apply a little mascara. Theres are plent of videos on youtube.
Just go onto youtube.com and type in ‘winged eyeliner’ and loads come up. Have a good prom and Im sure you’ll look stunning no matter what makeup you wear 🙂 xx

wear a little foundation & blusher/bronzer and make the eyes fairly natural with a bit of smokyness (put some slightly darker eyeshadow at the top of your eyelid) and a bit of eyeliner on top of your eyes-like liquid eyeliner but its easier with normal eyelner and i bit on the bottom with some flicks. get a friends opinion too. have fun 🙂 dress sounds gorgeous btw 🙂

i think you should do gold eyeshadow on the inner eyelids and fade into a light blue 🙂

I would say do a Smokey eye because it’s beyond amazing, but it is really bold. So something light and not over done. So just do something light, no heavy liner, no heavy mascara and u should be fine… As far as the color, it doesn’t really matter, it more so depends on your eye color. It matters on what color your eyes are not the dress cause eye shadow is suppose to make your eyes stand out so if you have blue eyes ur suppose to wear brown eye shadow with some blush maybe but dont over do the blush because then it will make you look like a clown and we dont want that but just keep in mind ur not trying to impress everyone in your school just try to impress ur date!
