daniel_asfar: What level of maths is required in complex financial world?
For example, a hedge fund or a investment bank.
Is high school calculus enough or is there a world beyond it?
I Have seen that hedge funds, specifically, hire only phd’s in maths.
I am pretty comfortable with basic maths but as soon as the calculus, functions, trigonometry come, my mind starts twisting.

Maths PhD is needed for most quant roles but the financial services industry also needs people managers, IT people, sales people and marketeers, so why not play to your strengths and go for a job in the industry that’s not so maths-centric?…
