Noxa: What kind of pet is reknown for being social and snuggly?
I’ve been considering getting a pet, but before I get one, I’d like to do some research.

I know that each individual animal has a unique personality regardless of species, but each species are more prone to certain habits than others. I’m looking for a pet that is very social and loves to snuggle and cuddle. The only restriction is cats- because they give me eczema.

The amount of care isn’t important to me, I have enough time to dedicate alot of effort into a pet and am willing.

I’d say a cat.
Dogs like a fuss, but only when it suits them.
Cats will snuggle you whenever.

Guinea pigs or an adult ferret. They both remid me of cats by how they sit on your lap! Alough I would get a pair of guinea pigs alough you could get one if you are going to spend ages with it! maybe be a parrot ?

My first instinct is a dog, they are very caring animals. But sometimes we pull the short straw and you end up with a rough spiteful dog. Also I know you have a lot of time but if you go on holiday or on a trip, getting care for this dog is hard and sometimes expensive if you consider a kennel.
If you want an easier pet I would suggest a rabbit they can be lovely and sweet but once again some of them are very unsocialable, but still easier to look after than dogs.
Just make sure you make the right choice and when choosing your pet you feel a connection. I know that sounds kinda ‘hippy’ but you just need to make sure you wont regret your choice!

A dog is the best snuggable pet. Rodents bite and are just generally rubbish pets that die all the time. Especially tiny hamsters

Ok you cant have a cat( and I feel for you. I have eczema as well but I live with 5 cats) so the best dog would be actually 2 diffrent breeds. if you have the space, a newfanland would be best. If not a chicuahua is best. very diffrent but very snuggly and very committed to you. as far as your eczema I have found that aveno skin repair in the blue tub helps me. try it and see. hope I helped with both problems.
