What kind of dancing do you usually do at a high school dance?

Fancy-pants: What kind of dancing do you usually do at a high school dance?
What dancing do you do more slow or fast? What kinds of fast dancing are there? (Besides grinding.) What other dances do you do at a high school formal/dance? And if possible link me a video for different fast dances. Thanks.

its mostly fast, the DJ will occaisonally play some slow jams for the couples out in there.. and uhh they play things like Lady GaGa, LMFAO, Cascada, Basshunter that kinda stuff.
You’ll also catch some of the rare Spice Girls, Backstreet boys stuff depending on your school. And yes there is grinding.. when you have sluts in the building. 🙂

I’m in high school and just recently had my first homecoming, it was a blast!
A usual high school dance consistes of:
-The first 20 minutes everyone is meeting up with their friends, complimenting everyone on their looks, music is playing but only a few people are dancing (a mere foot tap)
-The dancing: A lot of upbeat pop and hip hop songs are played, popular bands at the time are a must along with Lady GaGa, LMFAO, The Black Eyed Peas, Cha Cha Slide, You’re a Jerk (dances like those)
The main type of dancing will be jumping with your hands up, moving your body with the beat, grinding, singing alon with the songs with your friends, people being forced to dance by everyone around them, no one really cares how you dance (unless your doing something big and embarassing)
-There’s food spread out and tables with little party favors depending on the them. (i.e. zebra print glasses for a safari theme)

It’s much better than middle school dances so have fun!
