Sally: What is your religion and what would you do if someone tried to convert you to Christianity?
If you are Christian, what would you do if someone tried to convert you to Atheism? No offense to anyone, it just seems like a lot of people on here are Atheist. I am Christian and I have no idea what i would do if someone tried to convert me to any religion or non-religion.

I would have fun if someone tried to convert me to atheism. I’ve already been there and done that, so I would be quite prepared.
I’d be polite at first because most people are genuinely curious. But if someone kept pushing me to be a Christian (I’m an atheist) I would have some serious fun arguing with them. =]Answer by Skeptic
I would burst into tears and thank the Lord Jeebus that He sent one of His disciples to witness to me.
Actually I’d roll my eyes and puke in their face.
I’m an atheist.
Answer by CCI do not have any religion as I am an atheist. If anyone tried to convert me to some religion (not just christianity), I would ask for the evidence that supported the existence of their god/s. Without such evidence, belief for me would be impossible.
I would be polite at first, but if they do not get the message, I will accelerate the increase of my displeasure at their conversation.
Answer by WellTraveledProgMy religion is none.
And whenever anybody tries to “convert” me to any set of ideas, I do the exact same thing (whether they’re religious ideas or anything else): I ask what evidence they have to back up their claims, and evaluate any such evidence.
It works very well — try it.
Peace.
Answer by LastxdethI am a Buddhist, and in 7th grade, my friend started talking to be about Christianity. I was fully expsosed to Christianity at the fullest than any other time in my life. They told me about the Anit-Christ and going to hell.
I was so scared the whole following summer. But I was brave enough to preserve my culture and keep my traditional beliefs.
Personally, I don’t think people should try to convert, but if someone tried to do it to me, I would politly listen and just give them my beleifs.
Answer by Cool LouI have no religion. I am a Atheist If someone tried to convert me to christianity, people have tried, I would tell them why their religion has no credibility with me. I would feel so intellectually superior to that person that I would have complete confidence that I could beat them intellectually on any argument they could present.I know you think that’s arrogant of me but I have been going in religious message boards here and on the Bellsouth board for about four years and I have never seen a christian win one argument. Not one.The reason is the christian has no ammunition and the Atheist has a lot of ammunition. Another reason is the christian argues belief and the Atheist argues fact. No contest.Answer by SATAN is my GOD
I am Satanist
I would personally introduce them to Satan himself
Dont’ even think about it
Answer by Bubble BoyWell, I am sorry for all of the atheists that will burn in hell for eternity. You all may feel that you are intellectual when arguing with a christian because we are not subjected to fighting about it. If you want to go to hell then that is your business and if you want to be saved there is a Christian around every corner and a bible in every bookstore that will save you. The Lord comes to a christian’s heart and speaks through them. The reason you don’t hear anything is because you don’t listen. If you want proof that God is real, then just go outside and look around…it will come to you eventually. You cannot tell me that all this beauty evolved into its existence. God put everything in place and the devil invented things like the big bang and the cell theory to lure people away from the real truth. Im a Christian and I am saved. Some of you might want to think about being saved or you could just practice burning your arm because that will be nothing compared to the judgment when you are faced with God and he says, “You refused to know me even though I tried to save you.” You will say only,”There is no way.” That will be right when God tells the Gabriel to throw you into the underworld abyss where you will be burned in an endless pool of lava for all eternity. Good Luck.Answer by Bec
I am pretty open-minded and generally listen to what people have to say about their religion. I am not a part of any organised religion, though I was raised a Catholic. I believe that there may be a spiritual sort of ‘God’ but not necessarily the one i was told existed as a child. I also believe that the universe could have been created by something scientific. If someone tried to convert me to their religion, I would listen to what they had to say, but in the end i would make up my own mind what I believe. It can be interesting to listen to what other people say, and I find you can learn a lot of interesting things but I find it a bit offensive and it even makes me a bit angry when people come to my door and try to force their views on me. People should not be scared into any situation, and if someone would try to do that to you, then you should stick clear of them in my opinion. Some religions are growing more like telemarketers and trying to force things upon us. Just be strong and stand up for what YOU believe. Just because we share a planet, doesnt mean we have to share one persons view on how it orginated or where we come from.Answer by Daniel
