: What is the state of “falling in love” like exactly?
Twice I’ve been told that I’m falling in love, but I don’t know how exactly someone can recognize that.
So… I guess my question is, what are the signs?

When you find yourself always thinking about that person and when you want to start to tell them you love them. pretty much when you start to feel head over heels like “hes the one” and you dont want to be with anyone else, then you are falling inlove

Google “infatuation”.
Learn what the symptoms are.
Learn what biochemical conditions cause it.
Learn why infatuation always ends, and the longest that it can last.
Then google both “the marriage map” and “mature companionate love” … learn how reality is very different from the fantasy we call “infatuation”.
Knowledge is power … the power to keep from breaking your heart, from making serious irretrievable life-mistakes, from becoming a single mother living in poverty (or a non-custodial dad living in poverty), from ending up old and alone.
Falling in love is NOT loving. Being “in love” is not love. When you feel you “can’t live without someone” this is a clear indication that within 2 years you will HAVE to learn to live without them because the infatuation will have died out by then.
There’s a reason that 50% of marriages end up in divorce, and if you don’t know what that reason is, and if you don’t know what skills and personal qualities it takes to make a marriage last and be happy … then you, too, will end up divorced.
-Being in love is soo indescribable .
No one should “tell” you your in love, you just know because when your away from them you have a feeling in your tummy like you just can’t wait too see them again& your just unreasonable happy &complete feeling .
