Halfwit: What is the most inspirational soccer moment you have ever seen?
For the sake of a compilation I am making, I would like to know what your most inspirational soccer moments are.
I’m trying to include clips from many sports so I can only choose a few soccer clips.
This can be an amazing comeback, a great goal, some good skill or just some great team work!
An example of my own would be the Arsenal Match against Inter Milan (Internazionale) in which Thierry Henry pretty much single-handedly destroyed one of the best teams in Europe.
Thanks for every answer!

The one that comes to mind right away is during the 07/08 season when Real Madrid was playing Osasuna(if they won that game they would become champions). Cannavaro had gotten a second yellow card with the whole second half left to play. In the 83rd minute Osasuna scores with a goal by Puñal and goes ahead 1-0. With 3 minutes left to play, 10-man Real Madrid ties the game 1-1 with a goal by Robben. After that goal, the game intensified. Gabriel Heinze(LB)went up for a header, but when he fell to the ground the other player stepped on Heinze’s wrist causing it to bleed severely(might’ve broken it). Heinze was forced to leave the field until the bleeding stopped. With time ticking away 9-man Real Madrid attacked without rest. Osasuna would just continue to clear the ball. Finally, in the 89th minute, Mahamadou Diarra dribble the ball through 3 defenders and barely got the ball throught to fernando Gago before being fouled. then Gago barely hitting the ball with his toe, touched the ball to Higuain(who came on as a sub and was a fairly new player) and Higuain Shot the ball extremeley hard and scored. The fans went nuts, the stadium shook, and all the Real Madrid players hugged each other. 9-man Real Madrid won and were champions.
Greece beating the Czech republic in extra time in the 2004 Euro cup… Talk about a close match, I didn’t have any fingernails left afterward…
Say what you will about the Greeks as a soccer power, but that game was intense, and for it to end so improbably with a Greek victory with the last possible play before penalties. It doesn’t get much more exciting and inspirational than that.

When Italy won the FIFA 2006 cup against France. Nothing so far imo can or has topped it in soccer. I was so happy to see my team win.
