P Cox: What goalie gloves are best for indoor soccer?
Just started in a community league and I’m concerned that with the indoor soccer ball being suede, gloves (while protecting my hands) would give me worse grip of the ball. Is this not the case or are there keeper gloves particularly designed for indoor soccer?
By the way, I’m looking for real answers from people who don’t have a bunch of testosterone to throw around. Thanks!

I’m sure there are a specifically designed type of gloves for indoor soccer, but they would probably be more expensive and not worth it. It would be best to use the same gloves as the ones used outdoor because there are no specific reasons that outdoor is different than indoor for the goalie (except the more shots on goal, smaller goal area, and the faster pace).

Answer by ★ T ★I am an indoor keeper. I have looked in most of the sports shops (UK) for good indoor gloves, but every pair I have bought have caused problems. Most have ripped thru and unable to provide any flixibility once in contact with the indoor floor. So I have given up the search. Good luck!Answer by billywindsor
I think the best thing to do would be to go to a store, try on some gloves and handle some indoor balls to see which work best for you. I shouldn’t really matter if the are outdoor or indoor gloves.
