maybe sex is a more rude term of the act. sounds more wrong then saying making love. making love sounds like the sex that they put on tv. the one time that you do it with the guy that you have waited your entire life for, the one who you will marry. involving so much love. saying your having sex sounds like a one night stand. technically though they are the same thing.Answer by l2wh

Sex is intercourse. Sex can be making love (this is sex with intimacy, love, commitment, etc.). But sex just for the physical act (hormones, kinky, etc.) is “f*cking”.
Please mind that making love does involve sex (—Idiom to have sex, to engage in sexual intercourse). Making love can cause pregnancy or cause the transfer of STDs beause it is sex.
Answer by Pandora in blue jeansSex to me is… for instance.. Meeting someone in a bar, having an instant sexual connection with them and just acting on it with out so much thought or nerves in it.
As for making love.~ to me it is taking your time. you don’t have to be” in love” but rather when there is nothing you would rather do then explore that person and take your time in doing so. being completley in that moment and pleasing eachother.
Sex- hungry scarf down your dinner …take a nap
Making love- taking your time enjoying that exspensive desert that you can’t consume often. LOL

Making love is between two people that really love each other and they are not just focusing on the aspect of pleasure. They are having sex for love to show thier love. Now sex is just for pleasure.
