In a way there isn’t really a difference. There is a big difference from “loving someone” and “being in love with someone” though.

Falling is past the stage of loving that person and in love is when you love everything single little thing that you might have thought “gosh that’s wierd” and loving them uncondiotionally.

i think there’s a BIG difference.
when you love someone it can be like, i love my friend, i love my brother, i love my boyfriend, etc.
but when your in love with someone it can just be i’m in love with my boyfriend.
when your in love it’s different and just saying it not only feels different but it feels right too 🙂

i think you mean “in love” and “loving”. i believe, “in love” is more like infatuation and “love” is a deeper feeling, devotion.

Absolutely there’s a difference. When two people are falling in love, this is basically an assault on you by chemicals and hormones. It’s the excitement that you’ve found someone who likes you as much as you like them.

I don’t call falling in love actually being in love, because people don’t think rationally at this stage. It generally only lasts for a maximum of two years. After the euphoria of the “in love” state has faded and the rosewater goggles have been taken off, that is when real love happens. Real love takes time and work and protecting that relationship from the corrosions the world will undoubtedly try to poision it with.

Here’s what I’ve seen from my experience: “falling in love” is that early stage when you meet someone new and you are convinced that he/she is perfect, you are mainly attracted by their physic and partly by their personality. But the physic, the lust is what dominates the most. As time flies by, two things happen in a relationship: one of the partners fall out of love (meaning gets bored of your physic and end up not linking your personality) or the partners fall in love, meaning that they end up liking each other’s personality and then after that love becomes a devotion, a knowledge between both parties, respect, and an spontaneous joy.

I think there is but everyone has their own opinion on love.
The way I see it is when you fall in love, you realize that you are starting to love the person you are with or someone you spend a lot of time with, etc. Falling in love is like discovering your feelings for someone.
Being in love is when you are already in love with the person you are with, etc. or that you already know you love the person.

In love means you do love them and you know it…the falling is complete and you are now in love..

falling in love is head over heels for the guy, but everytime ppl fall, they get back up and walk away, in love is more commited(i think)just guessing random stuff

well, in the Bible, its a command to love people. so i think there r two different kinds of love. and you have to have both for that person to actually “be falling in love”.

Loves a strong word should be carefully used. Depending on whose saying it and what situation. Personally I would say falling in love means getting strong feelings for someone and fell that at some point in future they feelings will make you be in love with this person. In Love means you feel very strong about someone to be honest its the strongest feeling of all because love comes straight from the heart and should only be said when truly meant because it can be great but can also cause great disasters. Be careful but not to careful with love.
