Patrick S: What is the difference between a server computer and a regular computer?
More specifically when it comes to computer gaming and how they run on the server computer. Also can a server computer do everything that a regular computer can do?

a server is really just a pc, it might have multiple larger hard drives with data protection such as raid 5. a good server usually also has multiple XEON processors
so yes it can do everything a normal pc can do, but they do tend to be a bit noisier
if your looking to build a gaming server check with the game manufacturer for the recommended specs
Answer by nunaBasically, servers are designed to use server edition of OSes … that they have no proper graphics acceleration hardware, but lots of RAM and generally multi core CPUs. No, you will not be able to game on a server like normal PCs … because, as I said so, they are constructed in a way that Graphics acceleration is minimal, because, servers does not need it as it would make them power intensive.Answer by Sinorita
