What is the difference between a business major and an economics major?

BOB: What is the difference between a business major and an economics major?
I am going to U of M next year, and I was debating getting a business major, but someone told me economics would be good cause it covers some of the pre-reqs for Pre-Medicine, which I want to do at the same time. I want to know the difference between business and economics, and what you do in each
