What is the difference between a brown skin and an olive skin?

is brown skin more like indian looking and olive skin more middle eastern or eastern europe?

help, cuz a lot say I have an olive skin and others say it’s brown, and I don’t know the difference between these two, is it like 2 words but same meaning ?? or it’s actually different?

everyone will have there own opinon what the difference is in color Olive has more of a yellow undertone, while brown has a cool neutral shade here is the color difference technically:

some ppl say its the same but i dont think so.
brown skin is like a tan or a very pale african american skin.

olive is more oriental skin.
or more native american skin.
its a light brown but has a creamy tint to it.

Olive skin tends to have more of a yellow undertone. That means your skin is “cool”. So what you want to do is wear clothing and makeup that is “warm”. Warm colors are red, orange, yellow. They will make you look the best. If you wear too many colors that are “cool”, aka green, blue, purple…then you’ll look sickly and washed out. I hope that helps 🙂

In my opinion, olive is a bit lighter than brown and looks more like a tan.

Additionally, people from middle eastern or eastern europes don’t usually have that kind of skin color. Moreover, there is a belief that white-colored skin people came from there (Caucus mountain), that is why they called sometimes caucasian.
