How long do skin lighteners take to work?

bravo: How long do skin lighteners take to work?
I have been using an over-the-counter skin lightener for about a week. At first, I thought I noticed results, but now my skin looks the same as before and the red spots are just as noticeable.
It would be great to leave the house without putting on makeup.

they dont wrk….. no matter where u get it from. try applying milk with a lil salt….its beter than any cream

why in the world would you want to lighten your skin? unless you have SERIOUSLY uneven areas that are visible and wouldnt even out with make up I wouldnt do it.
Bleach will thin your skin which you wont thank yourself for when you are older.
Be yourself. Love yourself – outside and in.
Oh, and it is a gradual effect, depending on how often you use it. Stick to the recommended dosage and dont use over a very long period. Good luck whatever you decide!

it depends on
a) skintypes and the melanin it contains. if your skin contains more melanin like asian people do, then chances are, you have to wait a little while.
b) are you always under the sun? If you do then you better start wearing hats, sunglass or loose long clothes, because the more you stay on the sun, the less effect your whitening has on your skin .
c) consult a dermatologist, otc drugs if not effective for 2 or more weeks should be stopped, the derma can tell you the correct steps or medications that you have to take in order to lighten your skin ( though this is a bit costly but worth every penny)-

– while waiting, eat a lot of veggies n fruits also vit e. this will help smoothen your skin and lessen the redness on your face 🙂
ps you can use concealer and just blend it throughly after applying skin block .. a bit of powder then off you go 🙂
