becblack: What is the best software to download when your pc has been invaded by many security threats?
Several different software programs ie AntiMalwareGuard etc, continue to pop up and advise that I download them to remove the numerous threats found during the scan of my comuter. I am clueess, some of the programs or software that pop up seem to be more of a threat rather than protection. I know to stay away if there is no digital signature found but what about when it seems valid and then they want payment information? I am so lost and just want my pc to be healthy again. Please help me someone.

This will rid you of your problems…
Get free version of Superantispyware. Finds viruses and spyware that are very very hard to find with no conflict to other antivirus software. https://www.superantispyware.com Update (manual) daily free.
Note: Practically all Spyware and Hijackers etc. tend to target ‘Internet Explorer’ and not other browsers. If you don’t mind switching your browser, then you should switch and immediately greatly reduce your risk of infecting your computer in the future. I would recommend Mozilla Firefox.
Answer by MuckdoomeeAntiMalwareGuard is a rogue anti-spyware program that deliberately displays numerous false positives that wont be removed unless you first purchase the software. When installed, AntiMalwareGuard will scan your computer and display a variety of legitimate programs as malware. It does this to scare you into thinking you are infected and therefore will purchase their software
Follow the instructions using Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware. Scroll down to “Automated Removal Instructions for AntiMalwareGuard using Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware:” and please ignore the Google ads as they are not free to use.

Answer by OopsI have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans Hackers etc. I have just upgraded to AVG free 8.0 and all seems good so far. Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from https://download.cnet.com/windows/ I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helpsAnswer by john r
Here is a little tip, if you are gonna use WINDOWS then you might as well not even worry about all those softwares that claim to protect your PC, because none of them will protect against everything. Besides they bog down your machine way too much.
Just do what every other windows user has to do at some point in time and reformat every time your computer gets too slow to deal with. Save your files that you need later on a separate disk or something.
Your computer is prob. already being used to send more Viagra spam as we speak…
